TONGARIRO LODGE
Located along the banks of the Tongariro River, Tongariro Lodge offers a combination of luxury and a welcoming atmosphere. Notes
Code 5 or 6 floats in a matte color for 9 foot rods are recommended. For flies we recommend the use of local flies provided by our guides, although some American dry flies (in sizes 12 to 14) are very popular – including Royal Wulff, Elk Hair Caddis, Humpy, Irresistible, Stimulators and imitations cicada. Tapered leaders that are 9-16 feet in length with 4-6 tippets work mile.
