Salmon fishing in Scotland
Scotland is synonymous with fishing all over the world, it is tradition and atmosphere, the particular catch of Atlantic salmon, caught in a unique and enchanting environment, guarantees the best experience ever. The season for salmon fishing is very long, possible from the end of January to the end of November, with the exception of Sundays, strictly catch and release. The big 4 of salmon fishing:
Besides these there are many other smaller rivers that are worth a day! In this program we propose the Tweed, it is one of the most fishy rivers in the world. This is where the largest amount of salmon is fished with the rod of any other river in the European Union. This is the spiritual home of salmon fishing in Scotland. The proposal is enriched by a few excursions in the area, first of all Thirlestane Castle, a magnificent 16th century castle set in a peaceful meadow landscape in the Scottish Borders, just a short distance away. more than half an hour south of Edinburgh .. The site is aptly named Castle Hill, as it stands on raised ground. However, the raised land is within Lauderdale, the Valley of Leader Water. The land has been owned by the Maitland family since 1587 and Thirlestane was the seat of the Earls of Lauderdale. The castle was substantially enlarged in 1670 by the first and only Duke of Lauderdale. Further additions were made in the 19th century. Afterwards, the visit to a local distillery will not spoil.

Come si svolge?
Verrete prelevati presso il vostro lodge verso le ore 9.00 e portati allo spot di pesca dove la guida vi guiderà con l'attrezzatura da pesca più adatta alle condizioni.
Sarete quindi istruiti su dove stare, dove e come lanciare. Se siete pescatori esperti di salmoni, la vostra guida vi offrirà semplicemente suggerimenti.
La vostra guida sarà a tua disposizione per aiutarvi con i salmoni. Una volta nella rete, tutto ciò che devote fare è bagnarti le mani e sollevare brevemente il pesce dall'acqua per la foto.
Durante il giorno la guida ti fornirà compagnia e aiuterà a risolvere eventuali problemi di pesca (come i grovigli). vi fermerete per il pranzo al sacco, di solito verso le 13 e tornerete al vostro alloggio verso le 17.
Tutto ciò che devote portare è un abbigliamento caldo, impermeabile e un cappello o un berretto..
