The Copper River is considered by many to be one of the most important rivers in the world for fishing for wild Alaskan rainbow trout. It is an area of Alaska named “trophy rainbow river” where fly fishing and “catch and release” are practiced exclusively. It is these characteristics that have kept river fishing so exceptional.

COPPER RIVER LODGE
Copper River Lodge is located on the Copper River on the south side of Lake Iliamna in south-central Alaska. It has been designated as the perfect location for fly fishing in Alaska. Specializing in the fusion of an intimate environment combined with world-class fishing, the Lodge cannot accommodate more than six guests per week. The guests of the structure can take advantage of a full board treatment as well as taking part in fishing trips with a guide every day.
